Wherever you go LCD TVs have taken over the market with lots of competition all around it as well. It is pretty common to see an LCD TV in almost every household. With everyday that goes by the technology around us is constantly advancing and so these televisions are constantly getting far better than the old ones which were introduced in the market. There are several features, aesthetic designs and various other functions which have been introduced into the LCD televisions of today.
The size is one of the most important factors that buyers look for while buying an LCD TV. With the LCD technology coming into existence the size can be as small as 19 inches to something as huge as 70 inches which would have a widescreen display. It is a known factor that as the TV gets big it gets more expensive. On a personal level for the bedroom a normal 22 to 26 inch TVs are the best. If it is for the living or the family room then going for something as big as 40-50 inches are the best. Children love having a big TV while they lay their Play Station and Nintendo and other video games. People who go for the ones as big as 70 inches can actually use their home as a small home theater for friends.
The next comes the resolution of the television. Maximum people go for the 1080p or else the 720p. What is important is to know the difference between them both. To put it simply into words one has more pixels than the other. The 720p may just stretch which would result in stretching the screen/pixels and thus the picture is not clear at all. However the 1080 pixels give it a more detailed outlook. This is where the customer must know what he wants. If the size is small then a 720p resolution should be invested upon and in case of a large TV then the requirement of 1080p resolution is the most ideal choice for the family.
Once the size and the resolution have been decided upon then the biggest decision or factor for any household would be the budget/pricing of the LCD TV. Sometimes wanting the best may not be that easy to stay within the budget estimated by the consumer. For most go for the common tag line – the bigger the better but because of having to stay within budget would go for a lower resolution and so would ruin the purpose of having an LCD TV. Thus it is important to keep in mind all factors and combined accordingly.
